Background

Cole Chapin grew up In Yorktown, VA. He attended York middle and High school in the area, and participated in lacrosse as well as football athletics. Cole would go on to pursue not only a higher education at Shenandoah University, but also pursue college athletics in lacrosse. He would wind up being academically successful, earning a 3.96 GPA during his time at the university (4x Deans list and 2x Presidents list student), and excel as an athlete starting for his college team.

After two years, he would go back home to save money and attend Liberty online. During this time he’d also pick up a job in the career field of awnings/shade products. Becoming head of marketing for the company he worked for but also a foreman out in the field.

Cole’s has construction ties to not only awnings, but also brick laying and residential construction. During college summers, Cole had been employed as a brick layer. Learning the ins and outs of the process in reading blue prints, needed inventory, and step by step in brick building project completion. Cole also learned the needed steps in building residential homes, planning out of sub-contractors, and importance of scheduling and communication.

All of these experiences ties into a cohesive portfolio of deep general knowledge in the construction world.

Cole Chapin also has served as Head and assistant coach for the Tidewater Patriots travel lacrosse program for the past two years. Employed and travel team ran by Chris Swanenberg, a former Yale Goalie, former D1 head coach, and former D3 head coach for Christopher Newport University in which he started.
